The majority of our products are based on Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES). Electrical Stimulation (ES) is a treatment that applies small electrical charges to muscles that have become paralyzed or weakened due to damage in the brain or spinal cord. ES is delivered through a pair of electrodes placed on the skin over the targeted muscle. FES, on the other hand, involves applying ES to multiple muscles in a controlled sequence to generate functional movements, such as cycling, rowing, walking, or grasping.

In Memoriam
Professor Dejan Popovic was the forerunner of biomedical engineering in the former Yugoslavia. With his work and innovations, he contributed to improving the quality of life of many patients, and he especially loved working with students.
